How can you call it therapy if it's not actually clinical licensed therapy? It really should be called something else & I love art, but I think too many people exploit others for profit & when the average person hears "Art therapy" it's assumed that it is clinical & licensed otherwise literally anyone could buy a bunch of art supplies & a sign for the front door & start offering "therapy" when really all they are offering are very basic art lessons while discussing someone else emotional state, while not actually having ANY legal right to be doing that in a so called "Therapuidic" setting, a friend could literally offer the same thing for free.

I appreciate your video and have been given more insight and confirmation to go forth. I was struggling with some things and wanting to be my best in offering therapeutic classes though I don't have a degree. You really blessed me. Thanks❤

Your content is life changing. I’m interested in pursing graduate school after I finish my BS in human development and psychology. It’s more convenient for me to find schools in my Area and there I’d no Art Therapy focused schools in my area. Learning from your channel has helped me understand I can still utilize art in non-clinical ways with the community I live in Alaska. It doesn’t have to always be in clinical settings. My best moments of engaging others stories of trauma has been result of creating things together and first building rapport through art.

I almost died for deep depression until now. Last summer, I started drowning with pen and water color. It really made me happy. Now I am teaching drawing at art group. I call Happy art class. I want to be a senior healing art teacher. H Please help me how to become the one I wished to be. By the way, i have Bachelor degree for theology adult education and geriatric care for master degree II want to help emotional people through art.
